We've tried to make the rental process as quick and easy as possible. Most of the time you can be in and out in less than 10 minutes. There is no credit check, and our security deposits are the lowest in the industry. If you've got a question, its more than likely been asked before and can be found below. If you can't find the answer here, feel free to call our office at (915) 200-4554 and we will be more than happy to assist you.



El Paso Tool Rental does not charge security deposits for credit or debit card payments. Your card will be stored on file for incidental charges, and your balanced will be settled upon return of the equipment. However, for cash payments, security deposits are based off your customer risk score, and will be refunded in cash upon return of your rented equipment.

When renting a tool, we will ask for your driver license or ID card, and credit or debit card. For commercial accounts, please have your account number or physical commercial account card available at the time of rental.

If you have an active lease with us and you will need to extend the term of the lease, please call our office at (915) 200-4554. We will process a payment over the phone for the extended lease. It's important that you call us to avoid being charged late fees. El Paso Tool Rental may charge an additional daily $35 fee for equipment hold overs that are not extended in advance.

For residential customers, we accept cash and credit or debit cards rental items. Commercial Accounts are able to pay with cash, their commercial credit account (if available), or a credit or debit card. Items paid with cash will still need a valid credit or debit card on file for incidental charges. Cash payments may require an additional security deposit, which will be based off your risk assessment score.

All rented items are due back by the date and time on indicated on your equipment lease. Items that are not returned or extended by that time will accrue a late fee equivelant to the then current rental rates. Late fees are assigned automatically in our system, and can not be waived, so it's important if your are going to be late to call ahead. We may be able to extend your lease by 30 minutes to avoid you getting charged a late fee. If your rented equipment is not returned within 30 days, we will consider the item lost, and you will be responsible for the replacement cost of the equipment plus any additional accrued rent.

We keep your credit card on file for incidential charges, such as late fees, cleaning fees, and lease extensions. Late charges may be automatically billed to your card on file in the event that your equipment is not returned by the time and date indicated on your lease agreement. This is why it's important to call us ahead of time should you need to extend your lease.

In the event that the equipment isn't working correctly, please call our office at (915) 200-4554, and we will attempt to troubleshoot the problem. In addition, instruction manuals for our equipment (when available) will be listed under the equipment's page on our website, and can be viewed, downloaded, or printed directly from our website.

To ensure that your equipment or tool functions correctly and as intended, please test or inspect all equipment prior to renting.

Important notice about gasoline engines:
Some of our equipment is powered by a gas engine. For safety reasons, we do not store equipment with gasoline in the tanks, and even though every attempt is made to provide you with gasoline in the engine when you rent, due to limited supply on hand, it may not always be possible. As with any engine, please check oil and fluid levels (where applicable) prior attempting to start the engine.

We do request that you return your items in the same condition that they were given to you. Please make a reasonable attempt to clean the equipment prior to returning it. Excessively dirty or soiled equipment may require us to charge you an additional $50 cleaning fee, for our time spent cleaning the equipment on your behalf.
